Karen Grehm called us in May and wanted to schedule her family portrait session. She had recently won a gift certificate at the St. Rose School auction worth $250 of Diana Miller Photography studio credit. Karen was ready to update her family portraits and wanted an outdoor session. We shared examples on our website of our outdoor family sessions here in Citrus Heights and talked about what exactly she was looking to get for her home. Karen knew she wanted some desk size 8×10’s and 5×7 to give as gifts to the grandparents and family members. Beyond that, she wasn’t sure what else she wanted. The family arrived for an 11am shoot on a beautiful spring day and we started shooting and having fun. The kids, Matthew and Hannah were just delightful. Mom and dad, Karen and Ken were super easy to work with and open to trying some different poses. After the session, we gave everyone refreshments, and started the download. We believe at DMP that your time is valuable, and for most sessions we will have your previews ready to view in about 20 minutes while you wait. You will watch a slideshow set to music on our 48 inch TV screen while you relax in our studio living room and enjoy all of the fun moments with your family 🙂
Karen and Ken decided to go with 2 – 16×20 collage posters with a variety of adorable poses of the kids and the family, as well as package prints to share with family and friends.
