Diana has always had a passion for photography and has been able to show people the true power a photograph can have!
This could not be more evident than in a letter sent by a mother whose child watched a presentation given by Diana at Arcade Middle school’s Career Day many years ago.
In this letter the mother expresses how her daughter is now 20 years old and currently double majoring in Art and Psychology,
and how she believes that Diana’s work and words of wisdom made the difference when her daughter decided to pursue an Art degree from UC Santa Barbara.
The daughter wrote a letter to Diana, shortly after Diana’s visit to Arcade Middle School’s career Day in 2007.
The letter detailed her fascination for Diana’s ability to “catch the perfect light”, and how her “presentation and pictures were so amazing” which made her want to become “some type of photographer.”
She also attributed her knowledge of her new found passion to Diana, well before she even decided to pursue it in college so many years later.
So follow your dreams; cause if you love your job you’ll never work a day in your life!
