Jeff came to our studio for a Lifestyle portrait session that included several looks.
He needed some updated business headshots for work but he also wanted some casual and sexy photos to share on dating sites. I actually get a lot of requests like this and we always have fun getting the formal look and the “Dudeoir” look. Most men want something like a few buttons undone or a shirt off so they definitely put out a casual/sexy vibe but not going too far.
First, Jeff wanted some Lifestyle photos for his dating profile.
So we started off outside with Jeff wearing his suit, sunglasses, and leaning against his car.
He also wanted some exercise and muscle pictures with dumbbells, muscle posing, shirtless and muscle, t-shirt, and white long undershirt…
We used a “harder” lighting modifier here so it would create more highlights and shadows to show more contours.

Jeff shared that “I am still in pretty good physical condition (we agree!) and want to capture that with some quality pictures.
That was my main motivation for doing this.
We used the hard lighting with a grid spot and added a blue gel for the rim light
“Lastly I’d like some 8″ x 10″ portraits with a frame for my mom. Work outfit and/or dress suit outfit perhaps.”
And we took care of that too!

Jeff was a wonderful client and a really interesting guy. I really enjoyed working with him. About a week or so later he actually sent me a thank you flower arrangement!
Mom was happy too!
