Diana Miller Photography recently did a fun winter portrait shoot with the Chase Family. Luckily, winter in Sacramento is not the same as winter on the east coast, so everyone was comfy in their jeans and sweaters, which Grandma Claire coordinated with the whole family. Tip: She gave everyone in the family their “portrait” sweater as one of their Christmas gifts!
We did the portrait session at our fabulous outdoor portrait park in Citrus Heights.

While it is nice to have a portrait of the whole family, each of the grown children also wanted a picture of their immediate family. Claire’s daughter, son-in-law and their 2 adorable daughters had fun being connected to each other 🙂

Then we had Grandma Claire’s son, daughter-in-law, their handsome son, and their 2 adorable daughters. It’s fun to get a large portrait for your wall and then a smaller size of the other photos.

Who wouldn’t want a portrait of the cousins all showing their love for each other? You certainly can tell they were all enjoying themselves.

It’s always fun to let the kids have a silly photo where they can pose however they want. A little bribe of “take a nice picture and then you can have a silly picture” never hurts.
